2010 Elgin Area Convention & Visitor Bureaus Annual Visitor Guide Released

The 2010 Northern Fox River Valley Visitor Guide was released February 1, 2010. The Visitor Guide is the number one fulfillment piece used by the Bureau. 40,000 Visitor Guides are distributed throughout the year in many different locations. Staff members pass them out at all conferences and expos they attend, all hotels in the area have a Visitor Guide either in each room or in the hotel lobby, and Visitor Guides are now able to be downloaded off the internet. The Visitor Guide was given a new look this year. We designed our Visitor Guide to show the picturesque Fox River and our top four destination features, Accommodations, Attractions, Dining, and Shopping. Each feature has its own spread listing all the partners and highlighting a couple main ones, with a picture and description. The background pictures are to give the viewer a feel for some of the many experiences to be had in the Elgin Area. A couple of the new features in this years addition are the average temperature by month for the area as well as a new page set-up. The new page set-up makes the page clean and easy to read by everyone.
