Day One
After arriving in the area with the guys in tow and checking into your hotel, you begin your guy’s weekend with dinner and drinks at Bannermans Sports Grill in Bartlett. When you walk into Bannerman’s you enter a sports enthusiast’s paradise.
Day Two
Once you awake this morning, load up on a hearty breakfast at Alexander’s Cafe. Alexander’s serves home-cooked breakfasts made fresh on the premises
This morning, after a nice & early, grab your clubs and enjoy 18 holes at one or all of the most challenging golf courses in the Northern Fox River Valley: Bowes Creek, The Highlands or Wing Park Golf Courses, among many others.
After a full day of sports, head to Emmett’s Tavern and Brewing Company where you’ll enjoy the finest traditional American food and handcrafted beer. After lunch see how your beer was made with a fascinating tour of this microbrewery given by Emmett’s award-winning master brewer.
If the weather (or time of year) doesn’t permit golfing, take the guys over to The Centre, a state-of-the-art sports complex in downtown Elgin where you can enjoy three regulation-sized basketball courts, racquetball courts, a huge gym with indoor track, and Olympic-sized swimming pools. Or enjoy the horseraces at Arlington Racetrack.

Day Three

Resume your golfing competition at one of the many great courses in the Elgin area! Or, if weather does not permit it, be sure to visit the Illinois Railway Museum and/or the Fox River Trolley Museum.
