As part of Elgin’s Heritage Month come join Friends of the Lord’s Park Zoo as they celebration Mayor David Kaptain’s public announcement of the name of the Zoo’s newest bison. Vote by April 30th. The announcement is scheduled for 2:00 pm. Come early and enjoy popcorn, bottled water, balloons, music and more!

Also on hand will be the members of the Public Museum, History Museum, Fire Barn Museum, Gail Borden Library and Izaak Walton League. Learn more about volunteering as a zoo greeter during the summer!
