POUR ON THE PROMENADE FESTIVAL COMING TO DOWNTOWN ELGIN
ELGIN, IL – The Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the first annual Pour on the Promenade Festival taking place on Riverside Drive in Downtown Elgin, Friday, September 30, 2016, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Art enthusiasts, wine, and craft beer lovers alike will unite for food trucks, beer and wine tastings, and twenty artists along the Fox River.
As part of the festivities, twenty artists will set up their work for sale. Food Trucks will be open for event attendees to indulge in local food options. Yard games will be set up to keep you entertained with giant Jenga, Bags, Dice, and more. La Vita Cigars will provide their cigars to be sold to the public, Martini Room and Chooch’s Pizza are providing wine and craft beer tastings. There will also be a trivia scavenger hunt throughout the event that if you answer or take pictures of the required clues-the EACVB will pick one lucky winner for a Stay-cation at a local hotel. Many partners within the community will be sponsoring wine, craft beer, food, and assisting the Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Our presenting sponsor is Grand Victoria Casino who will have a booth to tell visitors about their event called, “Rocktoberfest” happening the next day. Pour on the Promenade is co-sponsored by the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission, where they will also have a booth for upcoming fall events.
The EACVB invites all art enthusiasts, residents and visitors to the area to join us in celebrating Pour on the Promenade.
